
CDA to Develop Kurri Enclave Housing Scheme with Private Developer
Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority
(CDA)
has finally planned to develop a private housing society
by the name of “Kurri Enclave”. This will be made possible in a joint venture with a private developer.
The project is designed to cover a huge area of around 10,000 Kanals in Kurri Village.

The development authority has stated that the land falls in the jurisdiction of the CDA but
it will award the contract to a private developer. The Kurri Enclave will be developed in a
joint venture. Several other entities will also be part of this development. The cost of this
housing society will be billions of rupees.
The CDA Board has also granted due approval to initiate and develop the housing society and
relevant measures will also be ensured. The Private sector will also be taken on board for
development purposes. CDA has also issued several invitations for Expression of Interests
(EoIs) to finalize notable companies in this regard.
The finalized real estate firm will be responsible for investing in the development and planning of the Kurri Enclave.
It is significant to mention that the Caretaker Prime Minister
has directed the CDA to focus on vertical development in the Federal Territory to deal with increasing residential demands.
