
CDA Plans Model Village Project in Islamabad
Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has devised a comprehensive two-year plan to develop a model village in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). This plan will offer a great deal of convenience for housing needs in the Capital. The rising population of Islamabad has been making issues for the CDA and thus an urgent need for a project to lower the load on the city and its resources.

The project will span over 3612 Kanal and will be completed in a period of two years. A huge number of 4,500 residential plots will be offered and each will be the size of 10 Marla area. The model development will also be offering commercial centres to meet the needs of its inhabitants.

The village will also be providing spiritual needs of the residents by developing the Grand Jamia Mosque, along with a healthcare centre. Most of the land is said to be allocated to the affectees of the Park Enclave Project, especially in the area of Mauza Kurri and Rihara.
