
LDA Auction Attracts PKR 416 Million Revenue
Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) arranged an auction while attracting a huge revenue of over Rs. 416 million. This was made possible by auctioning 28 residential and commercial properties. Several official dignitaries also attended the auction while highlighting the significance of these auctioned areas for the growth and prosperity of the city.

Several officials from different departments were present at the occasion including, Housing Additional DG, Director of Finance, Director of Housing, and many other notable dignitaries were also part of the auction.
Several features of the auction reflect its success, such as:
- Tenancy rights of a marquee auctioned for PKR 21.84 million
- A plot in Jubilee Town auctioned for PKR 6.976 million
- Four plots in Johar Town auctioned for PKR 130.959 million
- Two corner plots in Mustafa Town auctioned for PKR 12.369 million
Additionally, the plots also included the auction of eight plots at Tezaab Market and Do Moria bridge at PKR 7.986, 6.586, 6.586, 7.342, 7.3, 5.838 and 5.846 million. This auction was conducted at times when Pakistan is cash-strapped and billions of rupees were needed for the February 2024 General Elections.
